Insurance advisors constantly released to the market
After the outbreak of the pandemic, the exams were temporarily put on hold. Procedures and formats have been developed with the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego – KNF) so that it can take place in complete safety. HCM Deck was chosen as the exam platform – the feature of Tests in the system could be perfectly customized to get back to exams and releasing new advisors efficiently.
Safe exams entirely online
All safety standards are met. Once a participant accesses the exam, once they leave, they cannot access it again. 15 minutes prior to the start time, the candidate accepts an electronic statement confirming that they are taking the exam unassisted. Preparation materials are also turned off for the duration of the test and reappear on the platform after the test is over. The time constraints for each part are also very important. After the specified time has elapsed, the exam is failed. The electronic exam is supervised by two people. Confirmation of passing the exam is sent via email on the same day. Each candidate’s manager on the platform immediately gets the candidate's score.
Pass rate surges – from 49% to 69%
It turns out that this form had a positive impact on pass rates. In 2019, when regular exams were administered, 49% of examinees passed them. In 2020, when there were regular exams for four months and remote exams for the remaining eight months, 64% of examinees achieved a passing score. In turn, by June 2021, 69% of those taking the exam can apply for advisor licensing.
Faster advisor license application process
Scores from individual tests are counted automatically and then verified against exam-specific thresholds (in accordance with KNF guidelines), which significantly streamlines the application process for advisor licenses. Confirmation of passing the exam is sent via email on the same day. Each candidate’s manager on the platform immediately gets the candidate's score.
With HCM Deck, sudden changes do not worry us
With the outbreak of the pandemic, we decided to develop our insurance advisor exams on a platform that had previously served us primarily as a repository for training materials and a place to host the elearning courses that advisors used as part of their development.
Thanks to the successful cooperation with the HCM Deck team, we were able to smoothly adapt our development activities to the new digital world and implement online exams that met all requirements: ours and those of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Many insurance advisor candidates can take the exam at the same time, the environment is safe, and there are no logistical issues for the examinees.
